Welcome to the World Soccer Tennis Association (WSTA)—the official global body dedicated to the development, promotion, and regulation of soccer tennis, one of the world’s most exciting and inclusive emerging sports. Born from the fusion of football and tennis, soccer tennis is a fast-paced, skillful game that combines footwork, creativity, and strategy. At WSTA, we don’t just see a sport—we see a global movement that unites people of all ages, cultures, and backgrounds through the joy of play.

3. France
4. England
5. Brazil
Current Top 5 ATP Men’s Singles Rankings:

Hypothetical Soccer Tennis World Rankings

To create a combined ranking, we assign points based on positions in each list (e.g., 1st place = 1 point, 2nd place = 2 points, etc.) and calculate the average for countries appearing in both rankings.
1. Spain: FIFA Rank 2 (2 points), ATP Rank 3 (3 points) → Average: 2.5
2. France: FIFA Rank 3 (3 points), ATP Rank 5 (5 points) → Average: 4.0
3. Germany: FIFA Rank 16 (16 points), ATP Rank 2 (2 points) → Average: 9.0
4. USA: FIFA Rank 16 (16 points), ATP Rank 4 (4 points) → Average: 10.0
5. Italy: FIFA Rank 9 (9 points), ATP Rank 1 (1 point) → Average: 5.0
Note: Countries like Argentina and Brazil, while leading in FIFA rankings, do not have players in the current ATP Top 5, and thus are not included in this combined ranking.
This hypothetical ranking illustrates how countries excelling in both soccer and tennis could be prominent in the emerging sport of soccer tennis. As the sport develops, official rankings will provide a more accurate representation of global standings.
Development & Grassroots

Where Everyone Plays
At WSTA, we believe soccer tennis is a sport for everyone—regardless of age, background, or physical condition. Last year, under the Ball Playa brand, we proudly hosted our first official soccer tennis tournament. The event brought together a beautifully diverse group of participants: young and old, black and white, fit and not-so-fit—all united by laughter, competition, and community.
That tournament was more than just a game—it was a statement. A proof of concept. Soccer tennis is easy to learn, exciting to play, and accessible to all. That’s why WSTA is committed to building the sport from the ground up, ensuring that everyone has a place on the court.
As part of our grassroots vision, WSTA is working to integrate soccer tennis into school sports programs across the globe. We are developing flexible, scalable models that work for primary schools, high schools, and after-school programs. Our curriculum will teach more than skills—it will build confidence, inclusion, and global connection through sport.
The next generation of soccer tennis stars is already out there—on playgrounds, in schoolyards, in every corner of the world. WSTA is here to help them rise.
Let’s grow the game. Together.
